yeah that's right ladies and gentlemen...the day that i've been pining for has come.

today
i
was
fired.

ummmm...now what do i do?

i've filled out the unemployement claim online. since the offices are closed today they won't get it until tomorrow and that means 10 days from then. correct me if i'm wrong, but that's normal right? so what do i do now? i'll be getting my final check today. not sure if my previous 2 weeks worth of pay will be direct deposit or given to me in a check. i'm pretty sure that i should be getting 10ish hours of PTO which will help a bit. my taxes have been filed and i should be getting those checks direct deposited soon. that'll be very helpful. that just means that i wont be able to use that money the way i really want to use it. i will, however, spend some of it on me.

so at this point...i'm stuck. i will not get depressed. i will do something about this. today i have sent out applications/resumes to a few places, and found some stuff on craigslist that looks promising. i have an application that i need to send to scharffen berger chocolates. i want to hand that to the person in charge versus faxing or e-mailing it. i'm going to send my current resume to the school and see if there's anything there for me. i dont even know if the same person is in charge that was there before. everything is so up in the air right now...**sigh** but i will not let it get to me.

today starts a new day...and a new life. maybe i'll bake something.
