about last night...

so yeah last night was fun. i got to see a lot of people i rarely if ever get to see. i got to dance. there was some concern about the ankle at the beginning of the night, but i put that to rest in the first 30 minutes of the dance. i took off my shoes and danced barefooted (well nylonfooted anyway). there were some really good costumes there last night. unfortunately it appeared that those people who bought their costumes were getting the prizes. i dont know for sure that they were purchased costumes, but ::shrugs:: if i had a designer and seamstress in my back pocket, my costume would have looked better i'm sure. unfortunately i had to make the skirts myself. luckily for me my mom is a Goddess and helped me finish the petticoat. there was one girl there that had a costume in the fashion of Satine's sparkling diamond costume. the top hat and silver tails costume. it was really good...she got an award...that was a good thing. she deserved it. ::sigh:: yeah i'm a sore looser, but at least i got to dance, i got to see my K~, and i got to relax. the only problem was...it cost me $35 bux that i really didn't have, but i needed to get out.

i dunno...maybe i'll do something different next year
