OK so check this out...
today i got off at noonish and ran some errands. mom and i went to try to find lobster tails at a decent price. we went to costco, then to the chinese fish market in ssf, then we were on our way up hickey blvd to go to cost plus. at the top of hickey where we had to turn right...there was an accident on junipero serra blvd. the 2 cars that were there were a brown pickup truck and a red car (not too sure what the make of the car was). the truck had hit the red car. it was the same truck that was in my dream!!!!! I FREAKED!!!! my mom looked back when i told her that was the truck from my dream and that is when she told me that the car was a red car and it appeared that the truck had hit the red car. OH MY PHUQING GOD!!!!!!!!

so last night i got a call from Joann's fabrics and Hanya (pronounced like the n with the ~ over it) said that there weren't enough hours and she was being cut back, but she would keep my application on file. ::shrugs:: oh well...
and then...
i got a call from Charles at Aaron Brothers. he tells me that i come HIGHLY recommended by Rachel who is a person i used to work with at AB. He says he wants me to call the district manager Leslie and set up an interview. so today i called her (after she left me several messages). APPARENTLY...the management staff at the san mateo store is lacking in strength, and i am the one she wants to help get the place back in shape. it means that i'll be carrying keys and doing supervisory duties when the management isn't around. i hemmed and hawed about it and she and i went back and forth with what we wanted and it turns out that i'll be working minor hours and getting $10 per hour, but she'll be expecting me to work my arse off. i'm thinking to myself...perhaps this is a good thing 'cos perhaps my arse will work itself off and i'll maybe loose some weight in the crossfire!!! here's hoping. i know at least that i wont be going home and getting on the computer on a daily basis. i'll be working most weekends and some nights. if i dont work the weekend days i'll be working more nights and vice versa.
all in all this is a good thing for me 'cos i'll be making at least 50 bux a day (less taxes of course) but that's 50 bux i would have been spending on crap that i didn't need anyway.
