have you ever read the book of Job? i was watching extreme make over home edition on sunday and it was about heroes. this little boy named Job has been through a lot, but as his mom says (paraphrased) his life may be filled with pain now, but he will be rewarded in the end of his days with a long life and peace. it made me want to read the book of Job. even if you're not religious or if you subscribe to a different religion, i highly recommend it. what i find in this book is a loving and caring God who doesn't always punish the wicked and reward the rightous...sometimes even the most pious of people are punished and that's just how it is.
