i survived...

well today went better than i thought. my sister told my dad a couple of days ago 'bout the issue she has right now, and he's supportive about it. YAY!!!! step one done...

so today was Becca's engagement party in pleasant hill. not too bad. we actually had decent conversations...many of which started out "What did you do to your foot???" and then ending in a fit of laughter "not that we're laughing at you, but... it is kinda funny" ::sigh:: ok so i'm not the most perfect cousin at the party, and yes there were several "beautiful" people there, but ya know...i'm really proud of Becca and the happiness that she found. she's one of the "black sheep" of the Kempers family that actually did something good for herself GO BECCA!!!!! we actually sat in a circle at the party and had decent conversations between family. all in all it was a good night. too hot for me, but good nonetheless.

so tomorrow was supposed to be pittsburg faire day, but it looks like that's right out the door 'cos i dont have enough money for another tank of gas. maybe if the money fairy stops by my house and offers to pay for my gas i'll be able to go, but i doubt it. besides i have to get the apartment ready for friday night when jungle jenni and i are going to be getting in at around 5am from doing inventory recounts. hopefully it wont be so bad.

well...looks like it's sleeping time for me. g'nite all
