i'm home and i'm tired yet i'm up and writing this stupid entry. tonight i got to the inventory around 8:45... supposed to be on site and clocked in by 9pm. i'm always there early. got set up, did the briefing, and was set to the task of counting shoes. yeah it's ok...i just have to scan UPC codes so no biggie. i had the whole room (about 6 racks) done in like 5 minutes. my lead came in to check on me and i said "what's next". he couldn't believe that i was done. checked on how i was counting and then set me to another task. i counted alot tonight. about 25 sections. that's alot compared to what the other 2 newbies had done. i was just quick. the only thing was...they had one of the store employees "helping" me count a few of the sections. well he was just doing it slow, but i didn't want to turn him away from doing *his* job. but...he screwed me up on one section. luckily it was small, so i was able to have it fixed and then went on with the rest of the night. we were done by 11pm. 2 hours to do that store. i'm hoping it'll go that quick tomorrow. i'm not sure the difference in size from the one i was at tonight, but i'm guessing it'll be bigger. tonight i was at the Diesel on castro and market. tomorrow i'll be at the diesel on post. i'll be taking BART in. hopefully we'll be done by 11ish and all will be well and good. at any rate...they were still working on the back room when we left. hopefully they won't be there too late.

and now i'm off to bed.
