i have the best niece ever...

she just woke me up to wish me a happy birthday and give me a card. she apparently picked it out all by herself. it's pink and sparkley and has flowers on it, and it says the following:

she's smart and she's caring and all kinds of fun
she pitches right in with what needs to be done

with the woman that you call your aunt

she'll listen to you when you're under some stress
and celebrate with you each little success
no friendship compares to the one that you share
with the woman that you call your aunt

an aunt has been there from your life's very start
that's why she'll forever be close to your heart
no love can compare to the one that you share
with the person you count on to always be there
your thoughtful and loveable aunt.


and she signed it and wrote my name on the front of the card. it's the most amazing gift i've ever been given.
