Any plan where you lose your hat

so...today was the first saturday i've had off in a month. happily, i was able to spend it with the family that i miss so much. we started with brekkies and then off to the soccer game. the plan was to go to half moon bay to the 4C's punkin patch. well...i called 511 to check on traffic conditions and it just wasn't going to happen. so after a great soccer game, we decided to compromise. instead of going to HMB, we went to the punkin patch in the safeway parking lot near our house. this was a good thing because tisa was able to play on the jumpers for an hour for $10. we also met up with some of her old classmates from hugs hangout...so she had someone to play with. it was great! we got lots of pictures on a regular camera. while she was playing mom and i went walking around the "patch" to find our punkins. i found a really nice white one, and then we found a regular one that looked nice. mom made the comment that it wasn't the same as going to the patch in HMB, and i said "but it's a good compromise, and right now that's what we need."

once she was done playing, tisa and her tio ben went looking for her "perfect" punkin. she kept going to the big ones and we kept saying no they're too big. but of course...tio ben said "nah...it's ok...i'm here!" we all laughed and let her pick out the ones she wanted. she picked 2 very large punkins that were right next to each other. my sister took a picture of her sitting in front of them, ben paid for them and the other punkins and V put everything into a wheelbarrow and we were off.

here we see our princess being carried away in her carriage by her grateful servants. she was too much...blowing kisses like there was no tomorrow. then we took the punkins home and everyone did their own thing until around 7pm.
