looking forward...(open to everyone.)
Nov. 26th, 2007 09:26 pmok y'all...here's the thing. i have been religionless for a while now. not ever finding anything that is 100% me. i will be going to pantheacon in february and i'm wanting to "try on" --for lack of a better term-- many different religions/spiritualities. i have been catholic, i have read about wicca but never really practiced, i have read about asatru and the norse traditions but never really practiced (i trust in sif and my cat's name is loki...that's about as far as it's gotten), and i've mixed all of these into what i thought i was looking for. i would like to get more information about many different spiritualities. so...tell me...
what religion/spirituality do you practice?
if this wasn't your first religion, what made you change?
if you had a choice to change again, what would you change to?
who is the God/dess that you pray to/worship/call on for assistance?
when did you first start working with your God/dess(s)?
how do you call on Him/Her? (prayers, invocation, etc)
does He/She help you, give you answers, or tell you to do it yourself because it builds character?
do you feel that spirituality is inside you, around you, or in a sacred space (ie: a temple, church, meadow, etc)?
i know that spirituality/religion is up to the individual, but what would you recommend for me to try?
