i've been working retail now for most of my pathetic life. there's nothing in it for me anymore. so i'm wondering if maybe there's something else i should be doing.

Item #1 i like to help people. i can't do that from the office above the sales floor at a retail hardware establishment. i need to get out more.

Item #2 retail is getting stale for me. i need something more adventurous. i've been in retail for 13 years now. i need to get out more.

Item #3 i moved back to the bay area with the anticipation that i would be welcomed back with open arms by the people who said they were my friends. now i find myself hopelessly alone. there are a few people out there that still consider me friend and are willing to help me find a way to get out more. i appreciate that...more than they will ever know. i need to get out more.

Item #4 i am not doing myself any good staying here in this god forsaken town being depressed on a daily basis and unable to get out of bed to go to the job i currently hold with the womanizing pig that i work for. i need to get out more.

so the bottom line here is...i need to get out more.

so my plan is this:

work at disneyland...ok well maybe not the park itself, but i'm sure there are plenty of jobs in the offices there?!?! right??? right????

I work with non-profit organizations, and I’ve noticed the turn around is fairly high. If you like, I’ll see what I can do about getting a list of job openings. I think an environmental change will do you good.
